What is a Bernard Bond?
Let’s start with the basics. You don’t need a wallet yet.
A Bernard Bond is a digital certificate that represents a share of the Bernard fund. The fund puts crypto to work. When it earns profits, bond holders can receive a share.
You buy a bond
Your bond is kept in your crypto wallet. Buying a new bond is called “minting.”
The fund earns fees
The fund supplies crypto to trading pools. People pay fees to trade in those pools.
You collect rewards
Available rewards are paid in USDC, a digital token designed to track the US dollar.
What risks should I understand?
Returns vary. Crypto prices can fall, stablecoins can lose their intended value, and wallets, networks or smart contracts can fail. You could lose some or all of what you put in. Take time to understand the product before buying.

Buy USDC with Spritz
USDC is a digital token designed to track one US dollar. You will swap it for ETH in the next step.
Before paying: choose USDC on Base
Spritz currently lists purchases onto Base as “Coming Soon.” Check current availability . If Base isn’t offered, use Coinbase below or the MetaMask alternative.
Buying with your US bank
Follow Spritz’s instructions with screenshots.
Open the picture guideWhen USDC on Base is available
- Open Buy Crypto. Enter your amount and choose USDC on Base. Allow enough for the current bond price and fees.
- Add your wallet address. Paste it directly from MetaMask and check that the full address matches.
- Choose Linked Bank. Follow the prompts to connect a US bank account in your name.
- Review and approve. Check the amount, fees, wallet address, network and delivery estimate.
- Wait for your USDC. Bank payments may take several business days. Continue when it appears in MetaMask on Base.

Another option: buy through MetaMask
- Open Buy in MetaMask and look for ETH on Base.
- Choose an available provider and review its fees and delivery estimate.
- When ETH arrives in your wallet, use the “Already have ETH?” check in step 5.

You’ve completed your guide.
Nicely done. You’ve worked through all seven sections. Come back to the videos any time you need a reminder.
Go to my bondsFor later: reinvest or leave only if you choose. These are not required to finish your guide.
Use your rewards to buy more bonds
This is called compounding. You choose whether to reinvest; it does not happen automatically.
1. Claim
Collect available USDC rewards using step 7.
2. Swap
Exchange those rewards for ETH on Base using step 5 and its video.
3. Buy again
Keep ETH for fees, then follow step 6 to buy another bond.
Your claimed rewards are already in your wallet: no new Spritz purchase or bond redemption is needed. If they aren’t enough for another bond, you can wait.
Reinvesting increases the amount you have invested. Future rewards aren’t guaranteed.
Redeem your bond
Redeeming closes your bond position. It is different from claiming rewards or compounding.

Common questions
How long does the whole process take?
Go at your own pace. Identity checks and bank settlement are the main waits and can take several business days. Follow the estimate shown for your Spritz purchase or alternative provider. Do not assume the funds are ready until you can see them in your wallet.
How much do I need to get started?
Spritz’s linked-bank guide currently lists a $10 purchase minimum, but that does not mean $10 buys a bond. Check the current bond price and allow for provider, swap and network fees. Review the minimum shown in your order.
Can I use Spritz in my state?
Availability depends on where you live and the service you need. Check Spritz’s current state and payment eligibility before opening or funding an account. Also check that its purchase flow offers USDC on Base.
How do I get my USDC earnings into my bank account?
You can check Spritz’s off-ramp service, which moves supported crypto to bank dollars. Follow Spritz’s bank-withdrawal guide . Confirm the token, Base network, bank details, fees and delivery estimate before sending. You may also choose to keep your USDC or reinvest it.
What if I lose my phone or get a new computer?
Use the official MetaMask app and its recovery method to restore the same wallet. Your bonds are tied to that wallet, not the device. Follow your saved backup instructions; never enter recovery words into a support chat, email, or an unfamiliar website.
Can I do this on my phone?
Yes. Use the MetaMask app. If your usual browser cannot connect to Bernard Bonds, open bernardbonds.com in MetaMask’s built-in browser. On a computer, use the official MetaMask extension.
My bank will not link, or my name does not match.
The bank account should be in your own name and match your Spritz profile. Check your details, use Spritz’s support, or review the manual ACH / wire option . Do not use someone else’s bank account to get around a mismatch.
Do I have to redeem my bond?
No. Redemption is an optional exit. Claiming available rewards or reinvesting them does not require redeeming your existing bonds. Holding a bond does not guarantee future rewards.
When can I claim my earnings?
Check the Farm area for rewards that are available to claim. You can claim when the app allows it. Rewards and timing vary; there may be nothing to claim yet. Keep ETH on Base available for fees.
Where do the earnings come from?
The fund supplies crypto to liquidity pools used for trading. Trading generates fees, and available profits can be shared with bond holders under the fund’s current terms. This is not a fixed-interest account; returns can change or stop.
Why buy USDC instead of ETH on Spritz?
This route uses Spritz’s bank-purchase USDC, then exchanges it for ETH on Base in MetaMask. It works only if Spritz offers delivery onto Base. Do not buy ETH on Ethereum as a substitute for ETH on Base. See the direct ETH-on-Base alternative if needed.
Why Base instead of regular Ethereum?
Bernard Bonds uses Base. Base is built on Ethereum technology and is designed for lower transaction costs, but fees vary. Your address may look the same on both networks; the balances are separate.
My crypto has not shown up in MetaMask.
Check the order’s settlement status first. Then compare the receiving address, token and network with MetaMask. For a Spritz purchase, use its in-app support or support@spritz.finance . Avoid making a duplicate purchase while you investigate.
My mint transaction failed. Did I lose money?
Check the transaction status before trying again. A failed blockchain transaction can still charge a network fee. Confirm you have enough ETH on Base for both the bond and fees. If you cannot tell whether the purchase completed, ask the Bernard team before retrying.
Where can I get help?
Email bernardbonds2025@gmail.com and tell us which step you are on. For Spritz verification or bank purchases, use Spritz’s own support too. Never share a recovery phrase, private key, or password.
What do ETH, Base, and USDC mean?
ETH is the crypto used to buy the bond. Base is the network it must be on. USDC is the token used in this purchase route and for rewards. See the quick glossary for more definitions.
Does checking a box do anything to my wallet?
No. This is your own checklist. It does not verify your account or balance, buy bonds, swap tokens, or move money. You must approve any real transaction separately in the relevant app.
Ready for your next step?
Take your time. When your wallet has enough ETH on Base and you understand the purchase, return to Bernard Bonds.
